Let's Learn & Play!
Take the Whoopi Birds into your class schedule! Pass out punch out paper birds and have a group assembly of the Whoopi Birds. Once the birds are glued together they are ready to go for a walk! Read the Whoopi Bird story and assign the children to go and find different objects to glue onto their bird. Have them put together a message and then they can perform a puppet show in front of the other students. By planning out a play they learn creativity not only with their hands but their minds as well!
